The Leeds Association of Engineers is pleased to welcome as our new Honorary Chaplain Reverend Canon Charles Dobbin, who has himself extended a welcome to association members to Leeds Minster for a very special Sunday service in April 2015.
This year the association celebrates 150 years since it was founded. A special plaque will be presented to Canon Charles to commemorate our long association with the church. The plaque will later be permanently mounted in the church as a reminder for future generations of the association.
Our president, by tradition, reads one of the lessons, so do try to give your support. Your Honorary Chaplain welcomes members, their families and friends of all denominations to join this service during which the Leeds Association of Engineers will be mentioned in the notices.
The music in this beautiful church is always delightful, and following the service we have traditionally arranged to meet for Sunday lunch at a nearby hostelry, ‘The Palace’ Inn. We look forward to you accompanying us…
