A Grand Night Out !
One of our favourite events. A great night out to entertain friends and business associates. The speaker this year is Peter Finlay who is presenting, as his guest address, an illustrated talk entitled ‘Concorde – The End of a Dream’. Ladies and partners are very welcome, so shine those shoes and get ready for a grand night out.
Senior Flight Engineer Peter Finlay has over 35 years in aviation and is a guest speaker on board P&O cruise ships where his talks often pack the on-board theatres. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear this accomplished speaker give his version of events that led to the end of the Concorde era.
In addition to our guest speaker we once again welcome our Honorary Chaplain, the Rector of Leeds, Reverend Canon Tony Bundock along with the Lord Mayor of Leeds and representatives of kindred engineering societies and associations from around Yorkshire. Leeds Seventeen has proved to be an excellent venue for several years with delicious food and comfortable surroundings to enjoy this special evening.
