This year the Leeds Association of Engineers celebrates its 150th anniversary since being formed in 1865.
A special Commemorative Memorial Plaque is to be unveiled at Leeds Minster, better known to most of us as Leeds Parish Church – St. Peter’s at Leeds. We have a long association with the ‘Parish Church’ and you are most welcome to join in this event.
Please note the date and time: Saturday 5th September at 10.45 for 11.00 am
A short ceremony will take place, lasting about half an hour, following which there is the opportunity to socialise with friends and colleagues at a local restaurant over lunch.
This is a special day for both the Church and the Association, so please do come along and witness the ceremony with your friends and family.
