Leeds Association of Engineers Golf Day 2020
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation Hon. Golf Secretary Steve Stacey has liaised with the golf club and here is his report to golfing members and their guests:-

I have been in contact with Leeds Golf Club where we were due to hold our Annual Golf Day on Wednesday 24th June. I have already paid a deposit for the event and have agreed with the club to suspend the booking, rather than cancel it. I will then discuss a future date for the next event, which will definitely be at Leeds GC.
However, the future date is doubtful to be this year, but more likely to be in 2021, due to the current situation with Coronavirus Covid_19. In the current circumstances I will not rearrange the booking while there is any doubt about the safety of people taking part in an event.
I hope that you are all well and keeping safe from the virus. I will contact you again when there is any update on the situation, probably not until much later this year.

Below are details of the event as it was originally planned:-
Hon. Golf Secretary Steve Stacey has booked the 2020 Golf Tournament at Cobble Hall (Leeds) Golf Club on Wednesday 24th June 2020. (The Golf Club is located in Elmete Lane, Leeds LS8 2LJ)
The day consists of:
Bacon Sandwich and Coffee from 9.30am
9 Hole (Team of 3) Morning Event from 10.30am
Sandwiches and Chips for lunch (from 12.30pm)
18 Hole Individual Event for the Braime Trophy and other prizes (from 1.30pm)
HANDICAPS for the event:
Players with an official playing handicap to play with full handicap allowance. (Players WITHOUT an official playing handicap may have a Maximum of 24)
3 Course Evening Meal (including wine)
Dress code for Evening Meal is Jacket and Tie.
Presentation of Prizes and Cups (hopefully a prize for everybody)
Price: £56 per head for the Full Day (£50 per head for lunch onwards)
