Leeds Association of Engineers 2026 AGM
We will hold our 2026 Annual General Meeting on Thursday 24th September at 7.15 for 7.30 pm. The brief AGM will be followed by a talk by past President Barrie Yates entitled “Become a Generalist and Learn How To Use Your Imagination.” (See details below.)
Please Note that we are no longer able to use the church meeting hall in Morley and so our Vice-President Sam Wilkinson has kindly arranged for lectures to be held at his business premises WDS Components in Pudsey:-

Sam has advised a few practical points for the evening:-
Please park along the left-hand side of the building when facing the front. Please enter through the Trade Counter, located on the left-hand side of the building.
Everyone must sign in:- Tim will have the visitor book available.
Tea and coffee will be available free of charge from our machine. Only the downstairs toilets and office areas will be accessible. The factory will remain closed. The meeting room is upstairs, so please let us know beforehand if anyone has accessibility requirements.
The AGM is usually brief and members will have the opportunity to raise questions and make points.

During the 2025 AGM you will be able to vote for your officers of the association and for your council members. The accounts will be presented by the Treasurer for approval by the membership. Only association members may cast votes during the AGM, but guests are always welcome to attend the AGM and lecture. Here are details of Barrie’s talk with his own words……..
