AGM and Lecture…..
Tonight we hold our 2020 Annual General Meeting. The meeting will be conducted by your president Ross Town and will be followed by a lecture given by Jayanti Mistry….. (Jayanti’s lecture was originally planned for February but he was unavailable at that time….)
The AGM is usually brief and members will have the opportunity to raise questions and make points. The accounts will be presented by the Treasurer for approval by the membership. Only members may cast votes during the AGM, but guests are always welcome to attend.
Members, please come along to join in the AGM and enjoy a lecture afterwards.
Lecture this evening – Innovations in Cutting Tool Technology
We welcome again the representative from Kennametal, Jayanti Mistry who also came to talk to us last year after our AGM. Jayanti is a Senior Field Sales Engineer and will give us Part 2 of his interesting talk on the latest innovations in cutting tool technology.
As is the custom we will retire to a local hostelry for refreshments after the meeting……
The event will be held at our usual meeting place: the REA Scandinavia Trust Meeting Room at Cleckheaton.
Directions:
Take the M62 Motorway to Junction 26, or the M606 to Junction 1, to arrive at the roundabout beneath the M62 Motorway.
Take the A638 Bradford Road in the main direction of Dewsbury (also towards Cleckheaton and Heckmondwike).
After the VW Garage, come to a set of Traffic Lights. Turn Left onto Hunsworth Lane and after only 50 metres turn left into Kelloe Street. The club is signed ‘REA Scandinavia Trust’.
There is a small car park with overspill parking on spare land adjacent to the clubhouse. (Please do not park on any clearly marked Private Property.)
