We have a treat tonight when members of Bradford Model Engineering Society come along to tell us about their hobbies.
They will be bringing along some models for your delectation !
The society caters for a wide range of interests including locomotives, marine, road vehicles, stationary engines, clocks and general engineering and model making.
They have regular monthly meetings throughout the year including guest speakers, auctions, social evenings and the occasional visit.
They host open days in the summer and welcome visitors from other model engineering societies to two tracks in Northcliff Woods, Shipley. The society operates its 100ft portable railway at a range of events and offers birthday parties at the Northcliff track.
Both railways carry passengers on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer months, weather and volunteers permitting.
