“Ferry to the Top of the World”
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A NEW DIFFERENT VENUE FOR THIS MEETING (Due to the unavailability of our usual meeting room.)
One of our favourite speakers, Frank Smith, is coming along again to tell us of his adventures on board the ferry from Bergen in Norway right up to the North Cape, way beyond the Arctic Circle.
Frank tells us that he was able to delve into the depths of the engine room and inspect the ship’s engine, so tonight’s talk is not just a travelogue but something to whet the appetite of engineers….
Frank has enthralled us with previous his previous talks and tonight will no doubt be as entertaining, with a few anecdotes thrown in too ! Don’t miss it !
