“Jowett” Road Testing of the Jupiter & CD Bradford

Tonight we welcome back Paul Beaumont who promised us a return visit to complete his story of Jowett Cars. He will show us a film retracing the route of the Jowett test route.
Here is a quote from Paul:-
In the post war years the late Phill Green worked as a member of the experimental department at Jowett. He was responsible for a lot of the road testing of the Jupiter and the CD Bradford. Before the war Jowett – possibly uniquely amongst British Motor manufacturers – had devised a 40 mile test route through north Yorkshire. In 2010 we reran the test route using 6 member’s cars. The DVD portrays this tracing of the route. Some of it includes an interview with Phill.
