Members and their guests are welcome at this first meeting of the 2016-2017 session of events at the usual venue in Cleckheaton.
Tonight we will hear from your President Barrie Yates who will give a talk entitled ‘Fuel to Power the World – Is Thorium a Better Alternative ?‘
A nuclear reactor that produces no long-lived nuclear waste that can use the abundant material Thorium as fuel ? This story tells why we have not gone down this energy route and other misdeeds of our American cousins will be revealed.
