Solstice Walk and Supper – Farnley Hall Park
Malcolm Murray proposed that we arrange a Solstice Walk to be followed by Supper. He has arranged some excellent evenings in past years… Following the various lockdowns it would be good for us all to get out for some fresh air and socialising, even if there still has to be continued social distancing.
At the date of posting this event, according to the latest guidelines, most restrictions should be lifted by 21st June. As the event is only three days later we may have to be flexible with both the date and with arrangements.
Malcolm has proposed a walk around Farnley Hall Park to be followed by refreshments for further socialising. At the council meeting he suggested a meal and refreshments at ‘The Greyhound‘ – 23, Tong Lane, Tong, Bradford BD4 0RR.
Malcolm is currently liaising with the pub to arrange a menu which will be published shortly. Pre-booking of meals might be required but this will be advised following consultation with catering staff.
Arrangement: – Please meet in the Car Park at Farnley Hall for a 7.00 pm start on Thursday 24th June.

Note the earlier start time than previously published to allow more time later for the meal.
It was agreed at the council meeting that any catering would be free of charge as a treat for members. Please keep a watch on this event as we get closer to the date for further information.
