Summer Solstice Walk – Thursday 22nd June 2023
We are holding our Summer Solstice Walk on Thursday 22nd June at 7pm.
As last years walk was very enjoyable it has been proposed to return this year.
It is a steady walk (no climbing) approximately 1 hour around Cromwell Bottom
Nature Reserve, Elland Road, Brighouse HD6 2RG. If you have a pair of binoculars or camera do bring them, you never know what you might see.
We will then be retiring to the Casa Brighouse at approximately 8-15pm for a Pizza or Pasta meal while enjoying the view over the lake (see separate menu sheet below).
The walk and meal requires booking by the 15th June to ensure we are able to book
and we need to advise the caterers of your choice of meal, a deposit of £5 is
required by the restaurant for each person attending, it has been agreed to support
this by the Association but any cost above the £5 will have to be paid for on the
night to Andrew and you need to pay for your drinks.

Directions:-
Take the A6025 Elland Road from either Brighouse or Elland. From Brighouse pass
the Casa (large white building on the left), continue past the small sign for the
reserve and turn left into the carpark before the set back red bricked building on
your left (keep your eyes open). From Elland turn right into the carpark after the red
bricked building on your right it’s easier to see the building from this direction.
