The presentation of the Memorial Plaque produced to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Leeds Association of Engineers and its connection with St. Peter’s at Leeds (Leeds Parish Church) now known as Leeds Minster was made on Sunday 26th April 2015.
The presentation was made by the President Andrew Kibler to Reverend Canon Charles Dobbin and one of the Churchwardens.
The morning service was a Choral Eucharist and the plaque was blessed at the beginning of the service. Around twelve association members and their wives and partners attended the service.
The plaque is now mounted on the wall in the Ladies Chapel for those who would like to go along and see it.
Celebrations continued after the service with lunch at The Palace public house nearby.
