Hon. Golf Secretary Steve Stacey forwarded his report and results of the 2025 Golf Tournament. Steve took photographs during the day and Jas Shergill took photographs during the evening dinner and presentations. Steve’s and Jas’s photographs (with name captions beneath) follow his report below……

GOLF REPORT 2025

Captain – John Aldersley                                                 Hon. Secretary – Steve Stacey

This year the event was held at Cobble Hall (Leeds) G. C. The weather was a very pleasant 23 degrees.

The service from the Golf Pro office, Bar and Caterers was very good throughout the day.  It was the 85th Braime Trophy event and it was won by Dan Brown who has a handicap of 3.  There were prizes for everyone thanks to excellent sponsorship from M. A. Ford and Braime Pressings.

30 teed off for 9 holes M. A. Ford Team event, playing in 3-man teams.

The winning team with a score of 39 Stableford points was:-

Mark Miller

In the afternoon 38 golfers entered an individual Stableford competition, for the
Braime Rose Bowl Trophy and the M. A. Ford – Braime prizes.
