Membership is open to engineers of all disciplines
The Association holds a number of social events. These include the annual golf day, the annual dinner and a range of walks throughout the year.
There is a lecture this Thursday 20th February 2014 in the programme of the Leeds Philosophical and Literary Society to be give by Jim Gamble on the subject of ‘Meccano‘. The Anzahaite Long-Span Suspension Bridge in Jishou, Hunan Province, China, officially opened to traffic on 3rd April 2012. The walk was at Roundhay Park in Leeds. The evening turned out fine and sunny although the ground was still very wet after several days of rain.
