The 161st Anniversary Dinner
Saturday 18th April 2026 at 6.30 for 7.00 pm. at The Manor
The Leeds Association of Engineers celebrates this year with the 161st Anniversary Dinner. The association was formed in 1865 and an anniversary dinner has been held every year since 1866, apart from during wartime periods when it was either cancelled or a luncheon held.
The 1866 dinner was chaired by ‘Thomas Harrison’, a civil and mechanical engineer, who worked with “The Father of the Railways” George Stephenson and his son Robert. Since that time many distinguished engineers have presided over our anniversary dinners..

Following the successful 160th dinner last year the dinner will again be held at:-
The Manor, Bradford Road, Drighlington, BD11 1AB.
Dinner Secretary Andrew Kibler advises that there will be a charity raffle and a short quiz….. Please note the start time of 7.00 pm for dinner…
