Before the lecture this evening we will hold the 2017 Annual General Meeting. Members will be presented with a report by the President, the accounts will be presented by the Treasurer for comment and approval and any appointments to council will be made. Members will be given the opportunity to exercise their vote. Guests, although not allowed to vote, are most welcome to attend. The AGM is usually kept as brief as possible in order to get the main event of the evening underway…..
Tonight we have professional photographer Paul Richards who will talk about his exploits using drones to take aerial photographs.
The use of drones in aerial photography has boomed in recent years leading to some spectacular video and photographs which were almost impossible to produce previously.
Paul travelled to Cuba in late 2016 and it is hoped that he will share with us his photographic record of that trip. Come along and learn about some of the intricacies of this fascinating subject from an expert in the field.
As is the custom we will retire to a local hostelry for refreshments after the meeting.
