Visit to Carnaud Metal Box Engineering – Leeds
Date: Thursday 27th November 2025 at 7.15 pm for a 7.30 pm start.
Location: 11 Oldfield Lane, Holbeck, Leeds LS12 4DS.
We have been invited by John Crabtree of CMBE to visit their major site in Leeds. This 150,000 sq. ft. facility, located on the M62 corridor, was opened in 2021 to increase production capacity. The company designs and manufactures high-performance machinery for the beverage, food, and aerosol can industries. The visit will start with a short talk in the board room to be followed by a tour of the factory where the machines are assembled.
Places on the visit must be booked and all visitors must wear their own safety boots or shoes but the company has kindly offered to supply safety specs and hi-vis vests for the tour.
