This year the event was held at Scarcroft G. C. The weather, golf course and catering were all excellent. The event was attended by Alan Braime, who is the great grandson of the presenter of the Rose Bowl Trophy, which was donated in 1936. He presented the trophies to the silverware winners and Barrie Yates – LAE Vice-President presented the remainder of the prizes.
38 teed off in the morning round of 9 holes, playing in 3-man teams.
The Winning Team with a score of 43 Stableford points was:-

In the afternoon 43 golfers entered an individual Stableford competion, for the Braime Rose Bowl Trophy and the Europa-Mitchell Fox Cup.
The winners were:-
The Braime Rose Bowl:- 1st. Steve Stacey 37 points
2nd. Jas Shergill 31 points
The Europa – Mitchell Fox Cup:- 1st. John Francis 38 points
2nd. Brian Stockdale 38 points
3rd. Steve Stacey 37 points
The Member & Guest Tankard:-
Gareth Jones & Dave Richmond 58 points
The Charles Brass Trophy:- Richard Thompson 7 points
