This year the event was held at Leeds G. C. The golf course, hospitality and catering were excellent.
The Braime Trophy was initially played here in 1938. This was the 11th time it has been held at this club.
…….It was the 78th Braime Trophy event and it was won by Alan Braime, who is the great-grandson of the trophy donor.
32 teed off in the morning round of 9 holes, playing in 3-man teams.
The winning team with a score of 46 Stableford points was:-

In the afternoon 37 golfers entered an individual Stableford competition, for the Braime Rose Bowl Trophy and the Europa-Mitchell Fox Cup.

2nd. John Bennett with 35 points
The Europa – Mitchell Fox Cup:-
1st. Steve Tattersall with 43 points
2nd. Alan Braime with 38 points
