This section has been created as a vehicle for keeping our members informed of association news and by reporting current events etc. related to the wide spectrum of engineering. Contributions by members will always be welcome, but no politics or religion please.

In 1950, the RAND corporation created this model to show how a home computer could look like in 2004. It was thought that a teletype interface and Fortran language it would be easy to use. So, what’s this Fortran then – is it an iPad app?
