Keighley & WorthValley Railway Workshop Visit…..
Dear members, firstly, apologies for the terribly short notice but we only received information at the last moment…..
The National Lottery is promoting visits to interesting sites that have benefited by funding to celebrate the 25 years of National Lottery.
The Boiler & Engineering Skills Training Trust (BESTT) together with Keighley & Worth Valley Railway are giving a guided tour on 26th, 27th & 28th November at 2pm for up to 15 people at their workshop. *(children under 16 must be accompanied.)
The tour shows how steam engines are repaired with a trainee funded by the National Lottery.
We realize that the dates are given with very short notice, however this may be of interest to members. It may be too late for the Tuesday visit but if you are quick it may be possible to attend on one of the subsequent days……
