The President and Council of the Leeds Association of Engineers would like to wish all members, their families and friends a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2017.
We hope to see you at some or all of the forthcoming events in our programme. This year we have yet another varied selection of events including visits to a Fire Station, a Sikh Temple (for the Ladies’ Evening) and to Drax Biomass Power Station. In addition there are the usual favourites such as the Golf Tournament. Last year, due to lack of support, we had to cancel the Summer Solstice Walk so please come along this next year and make it an evening to remember.
In these days of Social Media it was suggested that we publicise ourselves more and so the association now has its own brand new Facebook page. You can find it on Facebook by searching for either ‘Leeds Association of Engineers‘ or simply ‘Leeds Engineers‘. It’s still early days and we hope to add more content and make regular posts, as we do with the website. As ever, we welcome comments and suggestions from members so if you have any input please do not hesitate to contact any of the council members using the email system under the heading ‘Contact Website Editor’ in the above menu.
In particular if you have any news or articles that you think would be of interest to the members please forward the information to the Website Editor for publication.
